Sgambati’s New York Pizza Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Came in on a Sunday, waited an extraordinary long time for our SLICE of pizza that they simply needed to warm up, all while tolerating a bloody mary. I recommend finding a more efficient and delicious place to enjoy your meal vs. this Sbarro's-like pizza joint.

Bring your appetite!!!! You get ALOT of bang for your buck at Sgambatis. The portions are large, really good pizza, location somewhat inconvenient. Beware of items with ground beef though - they serve those frozen round dog food pellets :) Outdoor seating around a really nice duck pond. My partner and I often order lunch to go and we usually get one salad which is plenty for 2 people and pizza by the slice. We have tried all their pizza and only found one we didn't care for - the ala vodka which had frozen breaded chicken on it. If you eat in the service is hit or miss and the place is not normally crowded as it used to be. I have never been disappointed in my food and I would recommend Sgambatis as a place to try out.

Was served visibly expired food and never given a refund, and then to top it off, the owner used nearly every piece of profanity I've ever heard, in a hostile phone conversation, at me. Avoid this place unless you want to contract a major illness.

We have only ever gotten delivery so I can only speak to that service and I have no complaints. Food always arrived before their estimated delivery time and was hot and fresh. I have gotten the white pizza a few times and it was amazing each time, will look forward to getting it again! My dad got the supreme and said it was really good too, great flavor. Have also tried the garlic knots a few times, again, great flavor, lots of garlic! My only suggestion would be to serve the garlic knots with marinara. I will definitely recommend Sgambati's for pizza. Look for a coupon on their menu or the website for an even better deal as well.

Love it. Been there about 5 times and never a complaint. Little bit of everything on the menu is a plus. Made it in to the new location once, just as good as the other

Been there a few times now. The last two times had the calzone, which is huge! Comes with a large side of marinara, which tastes homemade. For the kids they get a single slice and we typically get the garlic knots. If you order the white pizza it has little blobs of ricotta on top, which we love. Service is fine. Will keep going back.

I've had sgambattis about five times now, different types of pizza and garlic knots and what have you. I've traveled most of this country and consider myself well versed in pizza quality. Unfortunately, this place never met the hype so many from Green Bay have proffered. The pizza tastes mediocre, but for the price it can leave some to be desired. The quantities are large, so that makes up for it. The worst problem I've had is how every single time I've eaten there or gotten it to go, it has made me Ill. I figured this a coincidence, so I tried a few more times. Every time, cramping and the runs. I don't understand how people can stomach this, but such is life. Get some glass nickel or anything else, in my opinion.

I feel obligated to update my review as my experience has improved over the years. My main concerns were around customer service and I have seen some major improvements. The food has always been good and I look forward to being able to recommend Sgambati's to my friends confidently. I'll be dining here again.

Stopped in at the new Sgambati's on Manitowoc Rd. in Bellevue - glad we did, it was awesome!! I had lasagna which was phenomenal and the amount was huge! Garlic knots rocked, but no one would talk to me for a day or two (garlic breath!). The help was very friendly and down-to-earth. We will definitely be back!!

I'm having a hard time going between a 1 star and a 2 star review. The atmosphere is nice, and the bartender was very friendly. We were seated at a table that had a direct view to the pizzas displayed for slices. That was one problem. I'll get back to that in a minute. Our waitress seemed frazzled, maybe she had too many tables, not sure. Needless to say, it was a little slow. We weren't in a hurry, so it didn't bother us too much. We ordered 3 slices total and a Greek salad. The salad was just o.k. It had sliced black and green olives on it. I am pretty sure Greek olives are Kalamata, NOT canned sliced black ones. It came with Ceasar dressing....don't even get me started. When we got the salad, we had about 1/4 of the container filled with the dressing provided. They had run out, and were going to get more. So basically, someone was running to the grocery store to get some dressing. Needless to say, we never received any more dressing or were we offered a different type. Not the best start. Back to where our table was located. I had a direct view to the cooks. Not a good idea at all. I was horrified to see how the food was being handled. Apparently they do not have a spatula to serve a slice of pizza or do they wear gloves. I saw our waitress go back there and put our slices into the oven herself since our ticket had gotten "lost". No hand washing, One of the cooks with longer greasy hair, which was quite stringy hanging out of his stocking cap, wiped his nose and shirt quite often before he would man handle the pizza slices with bare hands. It was horrifying to watch the whole thing. We finally received our warmed up slices after about 45 mins. The waitress apologized, and my husband confirmed with her that she had to put them in. Two of the three were good. The teriyaki chicken was good, but a little pineapple would have put it over the top since it had a little kick to it. Also very good was the teriyaki beef and broccoli. The mac and cheese was unedible. I'm pretty sure there was a cheese spread (like you use on a cracker at a supper club) as the "sauce". The kids have had several other mac and cheese pizza, and have never left a bite. More than half of this one was left at the restaurant. My husband tasted it and deemed it disgusting. Definitely NOT somewhere we will go back. Quite disappointing.

Meal : I got the lasagna w/ garlic knots Pro's : The place is really cool and nice inside. really clean. The Garlic Knots that came with the lasagna were delicious. really good seasoning. the red sauce and cheese in the lasagna was very good.Great seasoning. Con's the beef they used in the lasagna were those frozen perfectly round flash frozen ground beef pellets. I hate to see a local place to this. Make a deal with a local butcher shop to get decent beef or Italian sausage to go with the great sauce and cheese.. I also didn't like the lack of a local tap selection. They only had two local brews out of 8 taps.

Went for lunch based on yelp reviews. The Greek salad was very good. For the price it was very big, as opposed to the chains that have been increasing prices and shrinking the salads. I also had a meat lovers slice. Came out nice and hot with lots of toppings. They have outside dining in the back overlooking a small pond. Very clean and open bar area.

I went to this restaurant last Saturday for lunch. This is a very nice restaurant. I ordered the gyro and garlic knots and they were awesome, but the highlight of my visit was the outstanding service. The waitress was knowledgeable on their menu and was attentive. She even went the extra mile to put a takeout order in for us and got our takeout order quickly. I recommended this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and great service. Next time I am going to try their NY pizza. The only downside of this restaurant is the location. It would be even better if was located either in downtown DePere or in Green Bay.

Sgambat's is pretty close to the pizza you find in New York. The one thing missing is the charred crust from the coal fired pizza ovens in Brooklyn, but I'm not complainIng. Even better, they serve pizza by the slice, or by the whole pie, which is much larger than your standard pizza chains. I had the meat lovers and it was delicious. They also have a full bar which is great and the service and employees are very friendly. If you like New York pizza that you can fold, you've found your new pizza spot!

My wife and I have been looking for a good New York-style pizzeria and we may have found it. We ordered some Mac and Cheese bites, a medium pizza (half cheese/half Mediterranean) and a order of Buffalo Hot Wings. The place is a bit out of the ways for us, and at the time we went, the road leading up to it was closed. We took the detour and easily got there without much problems. The Mac and Cheese bites were tasty and the wings were way too mild for my wife and I taste buds. The highlight was the pizza that was delicious and what we have been looking for. If not for the sub par appetizers, I would have given the place 5 stars.

Very good pizza and pasta! They also have a nice bar area with a lot of good drink selections. I have been going here for years. It is a bit on the pricey side for being a pizza place, but still definitely worth a visit!

I was really excited to find a NYC style Pizzeria in De Pere and all the rave reviews just pushed me in there tonight. However, I was very very very disappointed. Here's why: My Order - 3 Garlic knots 1 slice is each pizza below: BBQ chicken Mediterranean Meat lovers Opened the box when I got home. ...all 3 slices were burnt and the crust hard hardened and burnt really dark brown... toppings were burnt. ..no way I could fold that "NYC" style pizza. Taste. . Nothing special. ..prolly Cuz everything was burnt. Garlic knots were much better. ..relatively speaking. Not excited anymore for having a NYC style pizzeria so close to my place.

Just had my first experience at Sqambatis for lunch. I thought walking in that the place looked nice. I ordered the Sausage Hero (sub). The flavor was very good, but I was disappointed with the amount of sausage on sandwich. It was basically a onion, green pepper, and marinara sauce sandwich with very little meat!!! And I mean little! (Maybe the cook needs more passion for preparation...?)The fries were fantastic that came with it! Would go back to give them a second chance and try the pizza instead.

Excellent pizza. We picked up during the football game on Sunday night. Their large is XL and the sauce has a great heat to it. The owner was our cashier and I felt we were a bit of a nuisance.

I got so excited when I saw that there was a NY style pizza place in the Green Bay area but, sadly, it was a letdown. I love when I can go to a locally owned place and skip a chain, so it pains me to leave such a low rating. Pros: The bar area is really inviting with a cool glowing green bar top. It seemed like it would be a cool place for a nice happy hour. The restaurant half looks like a little hole in the wall/ mom & pop style place while the bar half is open and bright with a New York theme. Our server was polite and nice. When we asked about a kid's order of pasta, we were told that we could get a side order. I was concerned that it would be teeny tiny, but it was a very large serving. The pasta (we chose penne) was perfectly al dente and the marinara was tasty, thought more crushed tomatoes than saucy. They have a VIP club and when you sign in for the first time, you get a free order of garlic knots. Garlic knots are "knots" of pizza drizzled with garlic butter (real bits of garlic!) They also had 35 cent wings that we tried. I don't know if this was a Saturday special or an everyday thing. There were items on the menu that looked pretty good, but we didn't try, so I can't comment on them. Cons: First, we had to really look to find this place. It may not be in the midle of nowhere, but it sure seems like it. There seems to be nothing around but this "strip mall" that it's located in. Their menu says that they had to make their pizzas smaller because folks around here didn't "get" foldable slices. A little insulting but.... We ordered by the slice to get some variety. Sadly, they were out of white pizza, so we didn't get to try that so we ordered meat pizza and a slice with sausage and meatball. All three pieces we got were ridiculously overcooked. It was LITERALLY over-reheated pizza and that was the only flavor we got from it. Yes, pizza by the slice gets tossed back into the oven to reheat and crisp up the crust, but this was old, cold pizza that had been put back into the oven way too long. The entire slice was dark brown and too cruncy/hard. The cheese was tough and overcooked. The sausage/meatball slice was actually a cheese slice that they put some meat and a sprinkle of mozz on before reheating. I can't comment on how a full pizza tastes because we were so excited about being able to order by the slice. Maybe it's ok, but From what I could tell from the knots and my slice, the dough is a little too tough instead of chewy and if you can't make a decent slice, it would seem you're really not able to do NY style pizza. There WERE other menu items that looked like they might be good but I'm pretty sure we'll never make the trek all the way out there to try them again. I'm sorry to put a negative review on a locally owned place but I'm more bummed now that we THOUGHT we'd found a place to get New York style pizza and were denied than when we thought there were none around.

Excellent! The staff is very friendly and the food is wonderful. The patio is beautiful. Only advice, order pizza or italian, the bar food isn't the best. Another thing that is a little confusing is that the sausage is a spicy sausage, so you have to order a "meatball" pizza if you want a milder sausage. They have a big selection of drinks at great prices. I've been here for dinner, rehearsal dinners, take out, and drinks. I have always had a good experience.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century.
